It is used to treat, sprains and strains. If you have asthma, or have ever had an asthma attack, you should use a Ventolin inhaler regularly and only after being told that you are using Ventolin. You should not use Ventolin if you have asthma, chronic bronchitis (C Bronchospasm), or if you have a history of sudden worsening of a heart rhythm disorder. This medicine contains an active ingredient called albuterol. It is used to prevent asthma attacks and to relieve symptoms of asthma (wheezing or difficulty breathing). It relieves chest pain (angina) and pains in the joints, like the hands and legs.
To use the Ventolin HFA inhaler, the mouthpiece should be pointing downward. Point the mouthpiece forward to make a mark on thehaler so that the inhaler directs air towards the patient.
Some of the symptoms of an allergic reaction may include skin rash, itching, shortness of breath, dizziness, shortness of breath, and swelling of the face or lips. If you experience any of these symptoms, stop using Ventolin HFA and seek medical attention right away.
To help prevent any allergic reaction, take the asthma medicine as soon as you begin using the inhaler.
